Studied Art at Homerton College and gained a B.Ed at Newnham, specialising in History of Art.
1974 to 1986 worked at Saffron Walden County High School teaching art and craft (printmaking) to 11 to 18 year olds.
1980 to 1983 Studied at the Institute of Education, University of London for an MA
(Art in Education) followed by a Research project.
1986 left teaching to research an A levelArt History textbook
1987 began work at Colchester college of FE teaching Contextual Studies
1988 to 1993 taught Theoretical Studies at Norwich School of Art to BA and Foundation students.
1991 to 1996 taught at Kingsway College, London.
Since 1996 I have been able to concentrate on my own work .

I have exhibited in East Anglia at the Minories in Colchester, Saffron Walden Museum and Library. In London at the Mall Galleries and in Cambridge in the Open Studios since 1991.
